I did a teaching artist in residency at a school in Meridian, Idaho for 5th graders. This residency was through the City Arts Commission and we focused on integrating creative dance with character building. I collaborated with the school counselor intern and teachers and principal and the students had a narrative dance performance at the end for the whole school. Grandma Karen saved us and was the narrator of our performance. It was a short residency, like most, but in the amount of time we had, the students did a great job. I was proud of their hard work and the performance they did.
