Paige's 4th Birthday

It is a Carnival Party for Paige!

Paige's birthday party was very fun. We couldn't do it without all of the family help. Grandpa Michael, Grandma Sharon, Grandma Karen, Aunt Kathy, Uncle Jeff, and Aunt Shauna all helped. We had the carnival party in our backyard. There was face painting, games to win prizes like horse shoe throwing, balance beam walking, ring toss on bottles, bean bag toss, fish a toy, jump the hoops, and more. The grandparents together bought Paige and Noah a trampoline too. We had that all set up for the party as well. May 2010.

Visit to Boise Art Musem

Grandma Sharon, Uncle Milo, Paige and mom visit the Boise Art Museum. Better known as B.A.M. These are photos from the kids hands on explore art room. They had fun there. Paige and Noah love going to B.A.M. May 2010.

Eden's Memorial

We were happy to have Eden's headstone finished before Memorial Day. It turned out beautifully. We miss her dearly and try to visit her grave every month. May 2010.

Noah's Dragonfly Project

For Science, Noah studied insects. He wrote a research report on Dragon Flies, drew a picture, painted a picture, and made his first diorama. I helped him with the diorama, but he designed it, molded the dragonfly out of clay, painted it, and glued things together. He loves science and art, so this was fun for him. We took lots of photos because you can't keep a diorama forever...well not at our house. :-) Spring 2010.

Simple Pleasures

Isn't it great to be a kid...so many simple pleasures. This is Paige blowing milk bubbles. Spring 2010.

McCall's Pet Bobcat

Granpa Michael, Grandma Sharon, and Milo are spending the next few months in McCall, Idaho. They rented a cabin and we are lucky to be invited anytime to stay there with them. We love McCall. We found a pet bobcat in McCall, Idaho. The owner lets the bobcat sit on the front porch or driveway; chained up. The bobcat is very tame. We asked the owner if we could pet him and take photos. He obviously said yes. Paige and Milo were more than willing to pet, hold, and get very close to the bobcat. Noah, being the thinker in the family, was a little unsure at first and then gave into it after the bobcat didn't eat the little kids. Even when he pet the bobcat, as you see in the photo, he did it with carefulness and a little skepticism of the safety. Smart kid. The rest of us, not so smart. June 2010.

Hillary's Surprise 30th Birthday Party!

Masquerade Ball for Hillary.

Davy and Rachel threw Hillary a surprise birthday party. We had it at Utah Valley State College, small ballroom. We had a sit down catered dinner, homemade desserts, slide show tribute to Hillary, a roasting of Hillary (PG-13), and then we played "Minute to Win It" with Davy as the MC and Host for the game. We gave out good prizes for winners. It was way fun to watch. We were going to have dancing too, but everything took so long and the party got started a little late, so we didn't dance the night away. Everything went well, Hillary was surprised by many things and we all had a great time. Lots of Hillary's family and friends were there. Including Michael, Sharon, Taber, Mini, Roger, Camile, Helen, Kellie, Tim, Jeremy, Rachel, and more. No children came, just babes in arms. Paige loved trying on our masks. May 2010.
