Uncle Milo Comes to Visit

We were so excited to have Grandpa Michael, Grandma Sharon, and Uncle Milo come and visit us. We had a great time together. We know this photo will be a classic when they get older. May 2010.

Cousin Kaden's Birthday

We helped cousin Kaden celebrate his 2nd birthday. Grandma Karen bought sunglasses for all of the kids. Obviously from this photo you see they loved them. April 2010.

Noah Plays Soccer

Noah's soccer team, "The Tiger Sharks." This is the 3rd season he has been on this team. Jeremy has coached it each of the 3 seasons. It has been great to see them grow and improve with each practice and game. They are a bunch of great boys. Noah's nickname is, "Happy Feet," because he has fast, quick, little, fancy steps when he plays. This was a cold spring season of soccer. The boys were tough and did very well. Spring 2010.

Paige's First Season in Soccer

Paige participated in soccer for the first time. She
is three, almost four years old. I wanted to wait to have her try, but Jeremy wanted her to do it now. She did OK. She would cry and leave the game if someone took the ball or elbowed her or kicked her. She then would only play again if she could hold the coach's hand or finger while she played. As a parent, I was a little frustrated, but it was very cute to watch too. Paige's coach was so nice, fun, and patient. He was sweet with the little ones on the team that would take turns not wanting to play. Paige named the team Green Tiger Sharks (after Noah's team). The whole team loved the idea and agreed to it. Green Day-Glow Tiger Sharks. Spring 2010.

Spring Time at the Zoo

The zoo is fun to visit year round. Spring time there are many activities outside. Today we made
art prints with fish. We also fed the goats and lambs at the new petting farm exhibit. And best of all, Daddy came to the zoo with us. Weekends at the zoo are busy but also full of fun extra activities. April 2010.

Baby Abigail is Born

Josh and Amber had a baby girl. Child number three. The kids and I meet Abigail for the first time. She looks like a feminine version of her brothers. Defiantly a member of the family. So cute! April 2010.

Noah Loves Legos!

Noah loves Legos so when we saw this Lego build at Toy 'R Us, we had to take a photo. He was very impressed and hopes to build Lego sculpture like that. I love Legos because kids get to use both sides of their brain to make Lego creations. It takes engineering skills, following directions, creative building, and creative problem solving. Legos are one of the top 10 toy inventions in our book. April 2010.
